The young hopeful

Turkish Young Hopeful

At 21 years old, this young woman from Istanbul is a gastronomy student at the Okan University. At the same time she is doing a Tourism and Hotel management course. It was her University professors in particular who recommended her as a candidate for the Louis Lesaffre Cup. 


The national selection

Another team has been formed in the Africa Mediterranean zone – Turkey. And this team is a heavy hitter! Among other things, Turkey is counting on the diversity of not only the team members, but also the Young Hopeful and the coach. Men and women are bringing their own different approaches from which they will draw the best parts. Added to this, their huge enthusiasm, a thirst for new knowledge and rigorous training make them a team well-prepared for the international selection that will take place in their country from the 9th to 16th April 2015 at Lesaffre MECA (Middle East and Central Asia) Region Baking Center™.
