The coach

Sang-Gyu PARK

Sang-kyu PARK is owner of 'Cake House MILLE' and also the Vice President of Korea Bakery Association. It’s not the first time he coaches a team : he was Technical coach for national representatives in the Worldskills Competition in Brazil. Sang-kyu PARK is Graduated from Korea Hotel Technical College Confectionery and Bakery department.

“I'm very proud to be the coach of the South Korean participants. Our objective is to qualify for the final competition so I would like to show Korean baker's pride widely.”


The Young Bakery Hopeful

KIM Yeong-Chang

Yeong-Chang KIM is proud to be the Young Bakery Hopeful of South Korea and be part of the prestigious Louis Lesaffre Cup. At 20, Yeong-Chang is a student at “Korea Tourism College”. He declares that for him, bread is not simply a passion, but a vocation and one to which he is committed heart and soul.

“For me, there is nothing more thrilling than seeing the dough you personally kneaded turned into a piece of art. I have dreamed of someday becoming a baker while observing my teachers and seniors who have always given me good advice.”

He won 2 gold prizes in bakery competitions in South Korea, watch out YBH, Yeong-Chang could be a fierce adversary!
