National selection round:

In partnership with the CREMAI Show, the Louis Lesaffre Cup national selection rounds to choose the Moroccan team took place at the Lesaffre Morocco Baking Center. The competition had begun with a regional selection round bringing together 130 candidates from every region of the Kingdom. At the end of this first phase, 25 candidates were selected to compete from 12th to 17th July 2010 in order to determine the national team.
In order to guarantee impartiality when marking the products, the jury was composed of world-renowned professionals: Pierre ZIMMERMANN, Chairman of the jury, World Champion in 1996 - Christophe DEBERSEE, World Champion in 2008 - Nabil SBAI, who came second to the World Champion in 2005.
The jury was accompanied by a bailiff to ensure the results were fair and equitable.

Following the competition, the three winning candidates were designated to represent Morocco in the Africa Mediterranean international selection rounds, to be held at the CREMAI Show in March 2011
